Hai Phong Maritime Administration disseminates Circular 49 and holds dialogue with businesses

The Hai Phong Maritime Administration organized a conference to disseminate a new Circular issued by the Ministry of Construction and to hold a dialogue with businesses, aiming to unify the understanding and application of maritime legal regulations in the new period.

On the afternoon of January 19. Circular No. 49/2025/TT-BXD on the announcement of port water areas and maritime zones within Hai Phong City. Circular No. 49/2025/TT-BXD was promulgated on December 15, 2025, and will take effect from February 1, 2026. According to the Circular, Hai Phong port water areas include the following locations: Van Uc River, South Do Son, the northeastern area of the Thai Binh River mouth, Hon Dau, Lan Ha Bay, Lach Huyen, Ha Nam Canal, Cai Trap Canal, Bach Dang River, Cam River, and Gia River.

In 2025, the Hai Phong Maritime Administration recorded many positive results. With total cargo throughput exceeding 115 million tons, container volume reaching 8.35 million TEUs, and strong growth in state budget revenue.
